Meet Raelyn Pearson, LCSW, LSCSW

I believe that understanding yourself and actually changing how you experience your life are two very different things.
Maybe you're someone who can navigate a crisis, make difficult decisions, lead a team, and show up for everyone around you, but find yourself completely overwhelmed by the everyday things that somehow seem easier for everyone else. Or vis versa. Maybe you've got the day to day completely locked in but something is holding you back from really excelling in other areas of your life. Potentially you've already spent years in therapy, yet something isn't quite clicking, and you're wondering how this will be any different.
I get it. And this is exactly the work I love doing.
I'm Raelyn Pearson, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Colorado and a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker in Kansas. I specialize in helping adults navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, and the patterns that keep them feeling stuck, even when they've already done a lot of work to understand themselves. I am also adept at translating these same skills into work with teens.
My approach is somatic-oriented, nervous system based, and grounded in the belief that meaningful change happens when we address more than just our thoughts. We explore the connection between your mind, body, emotions, and experiences, incorporating nervous system-informed practices, mindfulness, and practical strategies you can actually use in everyday life.
With more than 11 years of experience across behavioral health, crisis services, clinical leadership, and outpatient care, I bring a perspective that extends beyond the therapy room. I've supported individuals through complex challenges, developed and mentored clinicians, and worked in environments where navigating high-pressure situations is part of everyday life.
I'm also someone who believes life should be about more than managing stress and checking things off a list. I love learning new things, exploring the outdoors, being creative, moving my body, and finding ways to stay connected to the experiences that make life meaningful. I bring that same philosophy into my work: growth doesn't have to be all serious, and taking care of yourself should be about building a life you actually want to experience. But understand I will also challenge you. I will hold mirror up to your current behaviors so you can decide if this is how you want to keep living or if you are ready to commit to something different. As the saying goes: the definition of insanity is doing the same thing and expecting different results. If you are truly ready for things to be different, for something to change, then something has to change.
My goal is to help you feel more connected to yourself, develop the capacity to navigate life's challenges, and create meaningful change that lasts beyond our time together.
You don't have to have it all figured out to get started. I'm glad you're here.
